Mr. Wang Zhiming, General Manager of the China Division of Bilingual Publishing Group, featured prominently in the roundtable discussion titled “Intellectual Convergence, Digital Innovation for the Future: Universities and International Publishers Collaborating to Promote the High-Quality Development of Academic Journals.” Participants engaged in a rigorous dialogue on the digital transformation of academic publishing, the ethical integration of AI, data security, and talent development. The panel reached a consensus on leveraging digital frontiers—including Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverse—to reshape the academic publishing lifecycle. The International Science and Technology Journal Co-Development Program—a joint venture between BPG, the China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology, and Higher Education Press—aims to elevate the global standing of scientific journals. By integrating expert think tanks, sharing dissemination channels, and co-organizing international academic events, the program seeks to cultivate a cohort of high-influence journals for inclusion in core international databases, ensuring the continued global resonance of Chinese academic and industrial achievements.
