The conference was honored by a video address from Academician Ouyang Ziyuan, Chief Scientist of Chinese Lunar Exploration Program and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Academician Ouyang lauded the gathering’s academic and innovative milestones, urging the global scientific community to embrace the "spirit of lunar exploration." Mr. Wang Zhiming, General Manager of the China Division of Bilingual Publishing Group, featured prominently in the roundtable discussion titled “Intellectual Convergence, Digital Innovation for the Future: Universities and International Publishers Collaborating to Promote the High-Quality Development of Academic Journals.” Participants engaged in a rigorous dialogue on the digital transformation of academic publishing, the ethical integration of AI, data security, and talent development. The panel reached a consensus on leveraging digital frontiers—including Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverse—to reshape the academic publishing lifecycle. The objective is to establish a new paradigm for the global dissemination of Chinese scholarship, thereby consolidating the foundations of scientific self-strengthening through high-level innovation.

Furthering its mission, Mr. Wang Zhiming attended the simultaneous launch of three flagship initiatives: the International Science and Technology Journal Co-Development Program, the Qiji Enterprise Incubation Program, and the Senpures Bioinformatics Translation and Innovation Platform.

The International Science and Technology Journal Co-Development Program—a joint venture between BPG, the China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology, and Higher Education Press—aims to elevate the global standing of scientific journals. By integrating expert think tanks, sharing dissemination channels, and co-organizing international academic events, the program seeks to cultivate a cohort of high-influence journals for inclusion in core international databases, ensuring the continued global resonance of Chinese academic and industrial achievements.
