The conference held a total of 8 keynote speeches, 24 academic reports and 6 group discussions. The participating scholars conducted in-depth discussions on the cross-disciplinary research of linguistics and psychology, linguistics and artificial intelligence, linguistics aviation applications, education and other disciplines, and shared the latest research results and theoretical progress. During the exchange, the scholars collided with sparks, inspired new research inspirations, and laid the foundation for future research projects. The conference also provided young scholars with the opportunity to showcase their research results, enhanced their academic confidence, and helped to cultivate future academic leaders.
III. Conference Results
In addition to enhancing the public's understanding of linguistic research and enhancing society's understanding of the importance of interdisciplinary research, this conference has also received active participation from scholars from the international community. As of December 22, nearly 1,000 papers have been received from dozens of countries around the world, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey, and India. The submitted papers cover multiple fields such as phonetics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and computational linguistics, reflecting the multi-dimensionality and breadth of interdisciplinary linguistic research.
The accepted papers will be sorted and summarized, and published by the Forum for Linguistic Research and other international journals, providing valuable reference materials for the academic community.
The participants generally believed that the conference was well organized, rich in content, and fully communicated, and expressed satisfaction with the organization and services of the conference. At the same time, the participants also put forward some constructive opinions and suggestions, such as increasing interactive sessions, increasing the frequency of meetings, and increasing international publicity. The organizers of the conference listened carefully to the valuable opinions of the scholars. After preliminary agreement, the organizing committee will present the sub-forums in the form of online meetings in the first half of 2025. It is hoped that scholars will continue to pay attention to this conference and other sub-forums, which will help international academic exchanges and promote the development of disciplines.
The successful holding of the International Interdisciplinary Linguistics Research Conference not only demonstrated the latest developments in linguistic research, but also provided new perspectives and methods for interdisciplinary cooperation. We look forward to further promoting the in-depth development of linguistic research and promoting exchanges and cooperation in the global academic community through such international conferences. In the future, we will continue to work hard to provide scholars with more high-quality academic exchange platforms.
